I don't think I should need to point out that if it WERE a real proposal, it would literally be calling for an invasion of the PRC, a major military and economic power, as well as (in the eyes of the United Nations) the real voice of "China." The US proposal is calling for a group of rebels to take over the government of a world superpower. And it was obviously a goddamn joke.

Causing World War III is literally the opposite of the UN's goal.
