One has to wonder if unarmed white people are shot, because it doesn't really make the news, probably because it doesn't really get ratings to report on every murder ever. But upgrade it to racism? Suddenly important because racism is a big deal and oh my god I'm drowning in ratings and money!

it's sort of self feeding to an extent. the news posts a story about an unarmed black guy being shot, gets good ratings, then riots ensue because of the news story. then the news reports on the riots, gets more good ratings, which could cause more people to riot and more unarmed black people shot and the cycle continues

I believe they are killed evenly alongside how much violent crime they commit. Of course the poorer group is also going to commit more crime, so they are statistically killed more. But it isn't racism on the part of the police.

It's just general brutality and oppression. Any cop who doesn't want to wear a camera is a bad cop. Police are public servants--not the other way around.
