Author Topic: How come today's society is so sensitive?  (Read 1698 times)

DID YOU JUST ASSUME MY SENSITIVITY????

even passwords are case sensitive smh

Actually each generation gets more sensitive.

My parents had it much worse with their parents, and they had it much worse with their parents. And so on.

Each generation, new parents are more lenient on their kids because they don't want to have their kids go through their "struggle" with their parents when they were kids.

In turn, now we have overly sensitive cry babies that think they can get what they want.

they arent. this is a narrative concocted by the right wing.

tumblr represents an extreme minority
how many times have you said alt-right and/or right wing

even passwords are case sensitive smh
Back in my day we could make our passwords with only LOWERCASE LETTERS.

we must hold an annual death-for-all so only the strong live

we must hold an annual death-for-all so only the strong live
death for all means death for all. everyone must die equally, so dont discriminate or ill make a safespace in hell

how many times have you said alt-right and/or right wing
Yea, I do use words when they are applicable? Just like how I say "Left Wing" when talking about liberals.

gee, i dunno maybe because people are humans and always have been sensitive to what anyone says or does ? Just a Wild Guess. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯  including Bees, because bees are people too

in my personal experience i've not met any significant number of people like this. in fact, most people on average act like normal human beings as you'd hope. this leads me to believe that everyone on social media except for me is an alien and this explains this nonhuman behavior. real life game theory confirmed

tbh i don't think we're more sensitive now than we used to be.

remember segregation? and how offended white people were if a black person so much as touched their silverware or used the same toilet as them? or when women started wearing pants and wanted to vote and the freakout people had that women wouldn't be good housewives anymore? or when we threw a stuffton of people in internment camps just because they had japanese heritage?

we just don't think that past times were as sensitive because we don't live in those times. we're probably just as bad now as we were back then, it's just over different subjects.

this thread literally gave me a panic attack delete this now

It's a clever political tactic that was developed to suppress dissenting opinions (under threat of otherwise meaningless labeling), used for a wide variety of agendas. In reality, sensitive people aren't that common. But you're led to believe they are so that you change your paradigm of the world to align with these "vulnerable" individuals.

going to add on to this, i think there are people who are just as sensitive out there, however they are an extremely vocal (relative) minority and since most of the population doesn't get triggered by how you look at someone of the opposite gender, they just become infamous due to their stupidity and flippant ignorance of current social norms

i do have to say that the world's collective sense of humor is progressively becoming darker though
