No, I'm posted it because I don't think people really care about your opinions anymore, chill it out a bit
you're seriously going to tell me not to dentify hoaxes because 'nobody cares about your opinions'? This is not only counterproductive to the concept of a public forum, it's also dismissive and likely a breach of rules.
You realize you're defending a scam, right? You're contributing to one of the biggest viruses that plagues the industry of journalism.
Do you just hate the right in general or did it abuse you as a kid
a serious majority of my friends and family are right-wing republicans. i can assure you that a distaste for an ideology does not inherently reflect your views upon those who practice it
well bs liberal fabrications are probably going to be less popular on a forum that's, on average, got a much more right-leaning libertarian active userbase
if anything, sites like this prove that there is an astounding market for bullstuff on the internet, and any ideology is equally likely to dip into that market. though i couldn't name any good sources for this off the top of my head as i involve don't myself in many liberal spaces that frequently discuss contentious politics
blf is perhaps a tenth of how frequently i see this sort of thing. it's more common on reddit (in the right-leaning subs) and it seems to have infested my facebook feed. though all of these forums are majority-right, the divide of how frequently i see said articles rarely matches the demographics of the userbase. perhaps its because the liberal minority is more cautious, knowing they will have the public slanted against them from the go, but other signs lead me to believe the right are far more exploitable via conspiratorial or fabricated articles. i've never witnessed an entire website dedicated to liberal hoaxes, but it seems as though sites like TruePundit are focused entirely around this concept. also, a glance through the top 25 trending hoaxes on snopes will almost always show a serious majority of conservative-oriented articles.
