I just wanted to say my opinion on this because it's always the same users who come into political threads just to bait other people into arguing about irrelevant stuff, which just derails the topic. It's gotten pretty ridiculous recently because it happens in practically every other thread.

well for one CIA is occupying a lot of land that belongs to other countries. the people in those occupied areas don't identify with CIA. that's like saying it'd be ok to bomb paris just because the national socialists are occupying it

CIA isn't a country. They don't have a civilian population. They're an organization of terrorists. If you decide to kill civilians in the area while trying to take out CIA, you're no longer attacking CIA, you're actually committing war crimes against the country that CIA is housed in, and that country isn't responsible for your indiscriminate killing either.

The family of CIA members are also not radical terrorists, so advocating for the killing of their family members is advocating straight up murder. Of course, all muslims probably look like terrorists to you so that really doesn't matter, does it?

Especially considering our current enemies aren't even an organised military; they don't have an air force, they don't produce battle tanks, they don't even have standardised ammunition. They take what they can get, meanwhile we have the capability to make precision firearms and create heavily armored vehicles (or maybe in the future, personal armor possibly akin to the stuff in Fallout), which enables us to fight these enemies in personal combat and eliminate them without the need for "bombing the stuff out of them", which tends to lead to unnecessary civilian casualties and collateral damage. Unfortunately the boots are off the ground and drones are in the air.

You know there's a whole intensive study conducted by top universities on the psychology of radical actors. According to top professors and actual researchers who are out in the field and who interrogate former terrorist defectors, radical actors should be brought to justice for crimes against humanity, but shouldn't be demonized just because they're part of that group.

There are members of CIA who are probably just cooks or web designers, who are either working against their will or are brainwashed into following CIA ideology. The optimal course of action is to detain them and rehabilitate them into society. The worse course of action is to blow them all to hell, because then you're letting the world know that you're a blind executioner.
