You don't have to put a spiritual label on yourself. I used to call myself an atheist but I realized I don't need to be called something or believe in anything to be an individual. I'm just kinda me.

religion is a collective set of ideologies followed by many, or an ideology itself - a religion is followed by people as a status or common idea, ideology is a thought process and set of focused ideals that one might think of or use in a political stance, but isn't necessarily "followed" by anyone

the main difference for me, from buddhism being a religion or ideology is the fact that buddhism is followed with daily tasks, but an ideology is just thought of
