Author Topic: Anyone else having trouble with Blockland servers? (Some servers are unjoinable)  (Read 3052 times)

Earlier I was trying to get my dedicated server up but the ping was just --- and I couldn't join, at first, my boyfriend could still join but then after he left and tried to rejoin he couldn't, so I looked into the issue, and it wasn't anything to do with my end or port fowarding and such

We both tried to join various servers but almost every single server had the --- ping and was completely dead, and I checked back just now and most of the servers are up but there are still a lot that are dead

So is something up with Blockland itself and is anyone else having trouble with their server? Just curious

EDIT: I tried running my server again, for me, it shows the --- ping once again, and I still can't join. Others can join, but I can't. It's weird.

Also some servers being unjoinable but others being joinable is still the case

have you tried to port forward

Well there are two reasons as to why this could be happening.

A. Someone didn't forward their ports for their servers.

or

B. Y0U'R3 BE1NG Dd0Ss'd 0MG! NOOOOOOO!!
B. Your internet is hitting the stuffter.

I already made sure it was not an issue with ports, meaning I have port fowarded and that doesn't seem to be the issue

Plus, other people can join my server

Well, then maybe his internet hit the stuffter.

Well, he has no problem with the servers other than a lot of them being dead when they normally aren't, and my internet is actually very fast right now, when it's normally very slow and when it is I have no issues hosting or joining servers

I'm just wondering if this is a problem with Blockland that will resolve itself, or if it's on my end, which it doesn't seem to be

yeah its an issue with some servers. it seems to be a problem on the server side not always accepting connections or sending punch packets.

Yeah like earlier today, almost every single server was unjoinable but it seems better now, I thought i was the only one experiencing this problem

I can't live without my Blockland

What did Badspot forget it up with the new update or something?

Or are we actually...
no it can't be.

If anything happens to Blockland I will promptly commit Self Delete seeing as my life will be empty once more

If anyone takes this as anything other than a joke I swear to loving god XD

Lizzy, I've reported that comment to the proper authorities.

I've been trying to host but it seems like I need to port forward, but Badspot has an extremely old manual which I cannot use. Either that or it's an issue under Badspot.

You've triggered me and now I'm really going to promptly commit Self Delete

yes i was having this issue the other night with server servers i tried to setup, except the problem lied within the fact im 99% sure the ports were already being used by something on the network (thanks tbp) try setting the port to something within 28100 if it isn't already fixed.

To join your own server, connect through LAN server list
