Yeah. It really hurt and if you chew it it gets into your bloodstream faster because it dissolves faster when it's all powder instead of in a plastic (or whatever it is) capsule.
The pill is meant to dissolve slowly over the course of several hours.
By chewing them, it's coming all at once, which, depending on what specific medication it is, could be dangerous.
And then after that initial, very brief rush, the medication is gone and you don't have any pain relief.
Don't chew pills. If they were meant to be chewed, they would be flavored, and called "chews" instead of "pills"
