Author Topic: Blockland on Nintendo GameCube.  (Read 4829 times)

So I was playing on some random freebuild server, and the server went from 30 players to 2-3 players within 10 minutes, and I thought to myself: "If Blockland was on those new-fashion consoles, all the servers would at least have like 10-20 players!"

Then an idea came to me, Blockland should be on at least those new-fashion consoles and not just for PC, so I researched, and researched, and found out that GameCube will be the perfect console for Blockland to be ported to! Blockland is 64 bits, and the glorious Nintendo GameCube is 128 bits! It has the best market share too, better than that puny Atari 2600 and Pong thing!

The controls will be no problem, left joystick to move, right joystick to look around, A-button to jump, hold it to use the Jet boots, B-Button to plant a brick, d-pad to use the emotes and look through the brick/paint menu, L-Trigger to act as a left click, R-Trigger to act as a right click, Y button can open brick menu, X button to open Paint menu, and the Z-button to act as a move right for brick selection. Z-Button + Bottom/Top D-Pad combo to switch tools down or up.

I don't want to deal with pathetic little trolls spamming "l000l no int3rnet p000000000000p00000000000000h 34d lelelellelelelele kek rekt xD", so I am just gonna send you all back under your dusty bridge now: GameCube does have internet, the Broadband Adapter lets you connect to the internet on your GameCube, online multiplayer there! Hurray!

If similar games (that game out AFTER blockland) like Roblox and Minecrap are avalible on those fancy new consoles and weird brick phones, Blockland needs to up itself too!

thats.... thats not how it works....

and the gamecube is outdated af. even if it did exist, there would be basically nobody who would buy it other than you and a select few other users.

The GameCube is not outdated, it is the most popular and used console right now! I'm sure all of its users would buy the game!

The Nintendo 64 or the virtual boy would probably be a better option. The N64 is 64 bits, so Blockland would fit snugly on that! And the virtual boy is 3d! Clearly any of these would work better than the GameCube! What were you thinking!?

The 3DS and Wii U and actually good choices for porting blockland to a console because they have 2 screens and quite a bit of processing power.
