i know how punches and kicks work in karate but i never got past yellow belt cause i quit

first thing i tried was taekwondo in 8th grade. i quit when i found out they fight for points and that the belt system was based on technique memorization and how many classes you've paid for more than actual ability and fighting experience... continued studying more traditional tkd on my own, ended up getting into tricking and freerunning from it

got into muay thai and some wushu in 9th grade, found out about an mma gym close to my place

started krav in 10th grade, loved the practicality. tried ninjutsu for the weeb factor but i didn't find much use in anything but the throws

finally implemented judo and bokator techniques into my fighting style in 11th grade

as you could guess my ground game has never been too strong, i'm mainly a kickboxer with some crazy throws. i can get out of submissions easily and that's all i've really needed; never lost to a submission ;) it pisses the typical jiujitsu+thai guys off. nowadays I don't go to gyms anymore for fighting practice or competition-- i just focus on real-world fighting applications and train at home as i've got all the equipment i need. once a year or so i get my fighter friends together and we have a loose-ruled fight night on private property lol. my "rival" (1 inch taller, 15 pounds heavier) and i always put on an awesome show since we're both advanced and like to throw in some tricking moves for fun like b-knives, aerials, flash kicks, cheat 900's, basically stuff that wouldn't be practical in a real fight lol. he hasn't beat me once yet though ahaha

not sure if this is martial arts but i've done a few moves when i was with my step-dad in kickboxing and that other thing i forgot

it was martial arts it was just that i forgot the exact name for what my step-dad did

never been taught any martial art, but I'm interested in alot of them, Jeet Kune Do is probably my favorite as it's sorta long range and not as close-up and personal, and a lot of different moves in Judo can forget people up.

oh yeah and there's no where to be taught it near me so

i know tai chi

wait

no i mean chai tea

Sweet, I've been looking into Krav classes, but the only ones I can find are around 100 mile drives, so I can't actively engage in practice. How well is the Krav training?
