Is it safe?
(No, it's not.)

I know someone who thinks chewing tobacco or "dip" is safe as long as you keep your teeth and mouth clean, and it has a low chance to give you cancer.

He won't take the truth from me or anyone or any source because they're "biased" or "untrustworthy" lol

Isn't it about as "dangerous" as smoking?

dangerous shouldn't be in quotes, smoking cigarettes IS dangerous

It's not as dangerous as people make it sound. People have smoked and drank pretty much all their lives and live to be 80+ and in healthy condition. You just have to do it in moderation, because anything in really high amounts can kill you. The people they show with lung cancer and stuff have those problems because they smoked way too much, but they don't specify that.

You should take a bullet to the face in moderation.

dip contains sand and other things in it that will basically destroy your gums and your teeth from chewing it

It's safe as long as you don't need your mouth

i was gonna say "i thought they used glass" but then i realized sand is basically crushed glass

Is your friend's name Willymcmilly?

Some people have lived to be 80+ while smoking and drinking regularly, but many more have died prematurely from mouth/lung/throat/nasal/stomach cancer, or heart disease or liver failure.
You shouldn't judge something as safe based on some lucky few.

Worst part about this is he still owes me $40 from January and he spends most of his money on dip and can't pay me back
