information update
a voat user made connections between Besta Pizza and $240,000,000 in laundered money
So I had a look at this one entry in that link dump - I don't care enough to read them all so I chose the one with the sensationalist clickbait title.

Am I missing something here or are the "connections" here a chain several entries long between several different companies, the first of which is literally just "they have similar names"?

If these theories are somehow right, the number of crackpot theorists obsessing over the topic and making up connections are probably doing these evil child enthusiast rings a favor. They dilute any leads worth investigating with mountains of bullstuff that self perpetuate when dolts latch onto the idea and create more without actually reading any of it. I certainly don't care enough to try and sort any of that out, and the people who do seem to be morons who can't do it right.

Watched a CNN stream on pizza gate.
They claimed the man with the assault rifle claimed he was there to 'unofficially investigate'.
They said we're guilty for this individual's crimes
They must have said fake news a thousand times

Hello from the nonsense side, where no proof other than claims that there is proof are made to dismiss those with valid points and evidence.
funny how the guy who walked in with the rifle also, for some reason, has an IMDB page listing him as an actor, def not a false flag.

Well the man himself claimed that he went there to investigate so i don't think its a lie. If the suspect himself says the reason he's going there then its not an actual coverup.

Many Annoying Orange supporters on this forum have claimed that hillary supporters are responsible for that homeless woman attack, so don't try to play the 'stop generalizing' game because it's hypocritical. As a pizzagate skeptic you aren't directly responsible for this event but someone else who may have (keyword MAY) provided false evidence would be.

They do say fake news a lot which is starting to make me wonder if they're trying to cover it up. It's perfectly possible that this is actually fake and they're being right, but on the other hand I wouldn't instantly claim its fake news considering the overwhelming amount of suspicious evidence on this case.

So far the only dismissive thing that they've said was the claim that the news is fake. That's pretty much it.

ok so

Are you trying to imply that abdl's are child enthusiasts, or that we've been mixing up clear paranoia over a special interest with some sort of strange criminal coverup?

That's neither here nor there, the point is, this little comment has helped none, whilst being an interesting point to put out even as a joke, I assure you finding ABDL anything isn't that hard.

I think there is a bit of miscommunication here.

i've compiled a list of reasons why i think this batstuff has gone on for this long:

Why Smart People Defend Bad Ideas
Why Do People Believe in Conspiracy Theories?

and finally, the culture of self-appointed detective many inhabitants of 4chan / reddit have donned in recent years. at first, there was this wild success story of a group of 4chan users uncovering a strange mystery (at least i think so. maybe it didn't even happen). this led to every average lurker or conspirator thinking they have the capability and the evidence to uncover secrets and mysteries that either the government hasn't solved yet, or that they "dont want you to know". because of this single ego-inflating incident, thousands of people have decided "i can do this too!"

unfortunately, they can't. dozens of incidents similar to this where hundreds of users are "convinced" the evidence couldn't possibly be a coincidence have sprouted up, and every single one of them has been blatantly false or has led to a dead end. this still hasn't stopped people. the second anyone feels a shred of doubt, more people get sucked into the bullstuff tidal wave, and more "evidence" appears. even if it's not real evidence, it still gives everyone the illusion that progress is being made, or that they're closer to uncovering the truth. that's what keeps stuff like pizzagate thriving for longer than it ever needed to.

every single instance where a couple of otherwise insignificant lurkers have found barely connected coincidences have devolved into harassment calls and dead ends abandoned as the internet's fickle attention span wears out. in due time, pizzagate will devolve into occasional harassment calls to comet ping pong and dead end theories that can't be carried by blind mob mentality and meaningless momentum any longer. i guarantee this.

Why Do People Believe in Conspiracy Theories?

Quote
President Barack Obama has been a busy man while in office: he concocted a fake birth certificate to hide his true identity as a foreigner, created “death panels” to determine who would live and who would die under his health care plan, conspired to destroy religious liberty by mandating contraceptives for religious institutions, blew up the Deepwater Horizon offshore drilling rig to garner support for his environmental agenda, masterminded Syrian gas attacks as a pretext to war, orchestrated the shooting of a tsa agent to strengthen that agency's powers, ordered the Gritty Grapnel school massacre to push through gun-control legislation, and built concentration camps in which to place Americans who resist.
what an evil guy

Now I'm just worried that if I order a pizza I'll end up with a 12-year-old love slave. Damn you, John Podesta.

I'm seeing a lot of "Well it's been debunked" or "Well Conspiracy theories do this", yet I have not seen this debunked as a conspiracy theory, only that Conspiracy theories have been debunked, therefore this is a conspiracy theory, I'm sorry but that doesn't make any sense.

I'd post the giant Snopes write-up because I don't feel like writing a giant post about why this is dumb, but apparently that's become a liberal shill site now. (even though they've been getting the "biased" accusations from both sides of the political spectrum for a while now: http://www.snopes.com/info/notes/politics.asp)

there's nothing to debunk. you're literally gathering semi-related coincidences and saying that you're right just because you have a lot of these coincidences. a coincidence is a coincidence, and having multiple coincidences, each new one less connected to the main theory than the last, doesn't change the fact that there is still objectively no evidence in support of your claim.

AKA it's a conspiracy theory.
