Author Topic: [NEWS] Unemployment at 4.6%, lowest since 2007 (in USA)  (Read 2913 times)

Do unemployment stats account for actual employed adults, or just those who are looking : jobs that are available.
yes, it's more like number looking / (number looking + number working)

a bunch of dumbasses think this had something to do with Annoying Orange.

this is the work of obama salvaging the economy after the 2008 crash. Annoying Orange hasnt even taken office yet--how would he have POSSIBLY reduced employment to a record low in the half-month he's been president-elect?

noedit: i went to t_d to see their take on this and there is literally a thread of people planning a violent coup bc they think jill stein is gonna rig the recount to elect hillary

What is t_d

i was okay w/ t_d but at this point they're pretty stupid

not that that justifies anything bein done to them recently

nothing bad was done to them. /u/spez edited a comment to troll a user he disliked. certainly unprofessional, but its not like he's banned their sub or something. if anything, he's done them a massive favor. given them another thing to bitch about.

i would actually support t_d getting banned. just the rampant vote brigading, private investigating, and sticky abuse to slingshot spam into the front page is really irritating. they could hopefully diffuse over a few smaller more moderate subs. i dont know if i really believe in the concept of a 'containmet sub', especially when the containment sub is constantly flooding the front-page of all. there were literally times when 95% of the top rising posts were t_d.
