PS Experience Day 1 just wrapped up with a loving bombshell.

Enjoy.

I own the first one and still haven't touched it yet

Didn't Joel die? And I think the plot of this game is going to be them getting revenge because of the Fireflies killing Tommys town.

Didn't Joel die?
I haven't played the DLC for the first game, but Joel and Ellie both survived the events of the main game.

If Joel did rooster it in the DLC, it's possible they're calling that some non-cannon alternate storyline stuff, or maybe Joel didn't die but everybody thought he did?

oh my god I am incredibly excited for this

I honestly didn't really want or care for a second Last Of Us, it was so good on it's own and felt like it didn't need one, but this trailer was so well one and just gave me the confidence that this game'll be incredibly good, if not better then the first one.

oh yeah uh uncharted legacy stuff cool i guess

Uh the dlc takes place (Spoilers: After the hospital or w/e got attack and Joel got forgeted up, it takes place between that and uh, I forgot honestly but he didnt die)

holy loving stuff yes

tlou is looking out to be the walking dead quality storytelling with much much better gameplay

imo tlou is and always has been incredibly way better than the walking dead, almost every aspect of tlou beat's out the walking dead quite a bit.

although recently the walking dead has been getting wayy better with this new season so I might poke my head in it again soon.

i meant the games, in terms of environment and grittiness of story, in case you were referring to the show. i like how it depicts how tough some decisions are and how people are pushed over the edge, which tlou doesn't explore as much (but to the same level of quality/depth nonetheless).

which season?

>tfw you think the last of us wasnt that great but everyone thinks it was a masterpiece so they call you out for it and you are no longer allowed to have an opinion

i mean sure if you wanna generalize the vocal eight people who don't like you anyway as "everyone"

I don't really understand the extreme hype. I mean normal hype I get, but I mean, the game will probably be a 10/10 but it'' be sad when you finish it in only one day and then be done and wait for a 3 hour DLC campaign to come out in three months post release. Idk, seems loving great but also not the most thing to stay hyped for. Literally, it only takes on day to beat The Last of Us.
