I feel like though Buzzwalker says that his topic was a joke and that he only "nominated" Nix, he very well intended to provoke him from the get-go, but then proceeded to play the 'innocent' card, then that's when the circlejerk mob-mentality happened and drove Nix off

If you're having this issue, the correct response is to take a step back, identify the problem, and fix it. Sperging and throwing a hissy fit and further proving yourself further to be a loving tard only throws you deeper into the loop. Quit coddling the tards, we really don't need them.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that you didn't read the thread, you're just assuming what happened. Nix, and several other people, were called gay. Not only did he bring up the furry thing himself, he wasn't the only one that was the butt of the joke.

I was also made fun of for being gay in the topic, and yet here I am, completely fine and not on the verge of killing myself. I even made fun of myself over being a furry in the topic. Here's my question to you: why should Nix get special treatment in this case?

Honestly didnt even try to provoke him. I just showed a picture of the user i nominated to be gay. that somewhat triggered him. He didn't handle the situation well, you all are also forgetting some people have different types of humor. I wasn't even thinking of nix when the thread was made. Just thought of him as a gay user, Plus I wasn't the only one :)
