"I don't like ho this is turning out," he says, lightly touching the tip of one of the protruding black spikes with his finger.

A screen lights up overhead, showing the robot wired into a specialized seat. "Yes sir"

"Have you completed brown townysis on the hive's genome?"
"No sir. We were able to capture and decode information for the screamers, workers and runners only. A glider capture has been made but failed, and the 3^rd Insular Task Force is currently in pursuit, with support coming from the 2^nd Insular Task Force. We expect to have a comple–"
"That should be enough, Kalem. Have you been able to isolate any pheromones from the Workers? Have you been able to produce them?"
"We have been able to isolate them, however, production cannot occur at this time. We can only extract it from a live specimen."
"Excellent. Prepare the pheromones isolated in Testing Room 4 and reserve 1 revival link for me if I die. I will need to conduct the human trials myself, but I have no idea how they will affect me, or if they will at all."
Kalem pauses for a moment, probably questioning the directive of not killing his boss, but then says simply, "Yes sir, right away."

The screen turns off and Tuevon turns back, walking towards the exit.

Behind him, the fetus-like queen turns over in the egg, an eye appearing to shut.

As the 8th peripheral fleet and numerous other drones corner and surround the landing sight for the objects that nicepoint shot, something odd occurs. The sound of fingers snapping echoes throughout the air, before the objects that landed suddenly dissapear; reappearing elsewhere in the mountains.
