if you like that straight-forward approach, then just start casually talking to her first-- give her a general idea of what kind of guy you are through how you compose yourself in a regular conversation, it will make her more comfortable around you regardless of whether or not she already likes you. then, before the conversation starts to drag on or get silent or (hopefully not) get awkward, transition into something like "i'm not sure how to word this, so i'm just going to get right to the point: you've been stuck in my mind lately, and i think it'd be cool if we could get coffee sometime soon" or whatever you want, just have a couple times/places in mind beforehand
do not try to make it dramatic. you're basically guaranteed a "yes", right? don't even think much of it
