Author Topic: Memorial being built for lynch victims  (Read 6520 times)

regardless when it occured, why should I be taking the blame now? not ALL whites lynched blacks, and it isn't my fault this happened.
we talk about people of color being opressed, but i feel more opressed, having to constantly take blame for something i couldnt've possibly prevented. and besides, there was no way to prevent it back then, either, theres always that one person who's out to do harm, and it's only a matter of time until they strike. noone couldve easily identifed someone who tried to inflict harm as they appear to be just like you, or me. even in our modern society, someone is out there plotting at all times. we can't stop it, and we couldn'tve stopped what happened those years ago, either.
nobody ever told you to take the blame. white guilt is loving stupid and people who say all white people are guilty are tribal. However...

There are real problems today. The civil rights movement is still happening today, as there is still some racism remaining in American culture. It's not the same as the lynchings, but it still exists.

You aren't, they're just building a loving memorial. Are you all incapable of reading?
this post isnt about the lynching memorial, its about the fact that theres alot of people chanting "kill white cops" etc, or wanting white people dead in general. and also how welfare exists and we have to pay in our taxes, which makes me wonder why do we need to pay for this? we didn't do this, sure the people before us did but we personally had no influence in this

like i said, i know that racism exists, but i don't want that i have to choke from it, because i'm not tribal myself.
also yeah white guilt is racism itsself. (didnt know thats the term before when i replied to ike)

what's your loving problem lmao

many things but you're not one of them

I hadn't realized that not being tribal was a liberal ideal lmfao

eih. the joke - my comment was extremely inflammatory >flames>fire starting but whatever

looks nice. i'll have to remind myself to visit once it's finally put together.

ooooo damn bro you really showed him with that kindergarten-level comeback

Go make a thread for that one, because this one has absolutely nothing to do with that.

we should build a pyramid memorial to the original black kings of egypt

yeah, no one was tribal except the kool kids klub in the fifties right? what a load of horsestuff. basically every white person contributed to systemic, societal racism back then, by being tribal and/or not speaking against racism when it reared its head. (granted, they grew up in a culture that tolerated racism and even tried to justify it with psuedoscience, so they didn't know much else)

no one wants white people dead
theres a difference between welfare and loving racial reparations holy stuff
regardless of whether you think you yourself are personally racially prejudiced or not, if youre silent in the face of racial oppression you are condoning racism
