I did about 55mph around this turn in my car.
I was on my lunch break for work one day and so I decided to take a little spirited trip down this road that my friends were always talking about that was like 2 minutes away.

(I was coming from the top of the picture)

I had never been on this road before and I was going a
bit faster I should of been but I was still within the limits of myself and the car. The corner is maybe 50ft after a blind hill, I was doing about 70-75 when I crested the hill. There was a safe speed limit sign so I knew there was a turn coming up but I didn't start braking until the guard rail started, I downshifted into 4th to get a little bit more weight on the front end, and came out on the other side doing about 65.
It was, exhilarating, to say the least.
I could of gone faster but I was trying to stay in my lane since 40 year old sports cars don't fair too well in a head on collision.

(picture for reference in the opposite direction)
Of course this doesn't even come close to the story of my friend, let's just say it involves a ford fusion, triple digits, the local police and hiding in a garage.
