Since we're still talking stuff about Stocking, I would like to re-open my argument that she has questionable taste in music.
Look at this drivel she wrote about Eminem. However in my searches, I also found this gem:
Halo wouldn't be sad if it weren't for that brilliant music.
So now I'm conflicted. She seems to have no real taste in popular music, as evidenced by her enjoyment of a rather flawed Eminem album and the blind praise of 'Karma Chameleon' I pointed out
here.And yet she holds the Halo soundtrack in high regard, calling it "brilliant." Let it be known the Halo soundtrack incorporates elements of ambient techno, Gregorian chant, African percussion modes, and orchestration reminiscent of the romantic period in search of a sound representing the futuristic yet primal nightmare of the Human-Covenant War. Arguably it is one of the most esteemed original video game soundtracks of all time.
The discourse surrounding Stocking's taste in music remains vicious and confusing.
