it's amazing but CN is such a suicidal company that they'll completely pass it by for "Johnny Test pt. II: Electric Boogaloo"

redhead would be cute if not for those hideous and distracting glasses
yeah um i don't think the premise of this show is to make a redheaded minor look cute

cute sells, my dude. just look at pokemon. everyone in that god damn series is hot and they're all like 5 years old

The pessimist half of the sphere sounds like Pinky from Pinky and the Brain. Is it the same actor?

probably not, he's voiced by Owen Dennis (creator)

also

dungeon train anybody?
snowpiercer: the dogening

Owen Dennis acknowledges that both of them exist
he originally had the idea for infinity train in 2010 and he got pretty upset when he found out about the dungeon train (which has an infinity symbol on it)
difference is that this show is going less for "storm to the front of the train and kill everything" and more for mysteries and easter eggs

so they're taking the no fun route, gotcha

The petitions to make this a series are probably redundant. Whole point of pilots is that show-creators make an inexpensive prototype of their show that's just for the network execs to see. The reason they've posted this on their Youtube channel is because they're probably gonna make it a show.

Would be a welcome addition too. CN is axing nearly all of its prime time shows in the next year or so.

doesnt cn post a lot of these pilot episodes on their yt channel tho? i feel like they do that to see which ones produce the best reactions from their viewers

also the girls like 10 guys please relax

CN makes extra money and gains viewers off of it's youtube videos, so it only makes sense for them to put up every single pilot, fail or success, that will captivate viewers.

they've been screening a lot of stuff shows recently. a lot worse than what they used to have up

Oh stuff yeah I saw this a while ago. Looks neat as forget.

given the route CN's been taking recently, i'd say that they've probably changed that strategy. lots of these shorts have been made and posted on their official youtube. it's not unlikely they're using that and the CN app as an inexpensive way to gauge actual viewer interest.

i follow a lot of these artists, and the way they seem to talk about their stuff, i get the impression that the youtube upload is what they go for from the start

well it's currently at 1,000,000+ views so if they already said they wouldn't do it they've made a huge mistake

at this point any original IP would be better than PPG and TTG

honestly, all of the shows screened now, like TTG, PPG, Uncle Grandpa, Clarence, Johnny Test and others are just horribly made and have almost no comedic value besides stuffty jokes. There are a few gems like Adventure Time and Steven Universe that make it on, but they're really taking a blow in the show quality. Hopefully they get smart and start screening more independent stuff like Infinity Train and Bravest Warriors

i guess i have no soul because I wasn't that invested. a little funny, mostly okay. that sphere is a lame character and i don't like either side of it. the concept was a little interesting but I fear it'd get old fast and the mystery would resolve. the only *really* funny part was her asking the dog if he wanted to go outside.

i'd give it a 6.5/10. solid pilot. not nearly as good as the rick & morty pilot imo.

i personally thought the dog jokes were all wonderful
i do agree that the sphere character is lame tho, however i feel like if they made this into an actual show, the dialogue would be a lot more polished

if they do greenlight this show the fart jokes really need to go
