It has to be 75x75 or less, and there's a file size limit but don't have it off top of head rn.

Google images, but just use paint to resize your image to 75x75

I think the file size maximum is 25kb, so saving as .jpeg should compress your size down if you can't fit it.

The filesize max is way more than 25kb

its basically just this stuffty 'virus detection' script in smf forum that has too many false positives, if you have an image editor that can remove the meta data from your image it should be allowed through, also sometimes if you change colors of the image slightly it will work or as some people recommend shave off a pixel in width or height

you just need to get lucky with your file to avoid the stupid thing
png jpeg gif will all work
