| | You and your mates were having a jolly old time sailing in the Stranded Sea, searching for ancient treasures, when a pirate ship noticed you! After a few narrow misses, one of their cannon shots struck your boat, springing a leak. In a hurry to get on dry land before the boat filled completely, you rowed to a small island before passing out from exhaustion. You wake up with a splitting headache, the pirate ship cruising around your island, and strange laser-shooting fish swarming the waters...
In this pack, you have many magical and technological mods in addition to the latest Minecraft features at your disposal to fight back against the pirates, build a base among the islands, and produce all sorts of materials! Rules
- Collaboration is greatly encouraged. If you are hogging materials, hoarding loot, or otherwise not playing well with the group, that's no bueno. On the flip side, that doesn't mean you can just steal whatever. I know this seems a little annoying, but keep in mind that islands inherently make materials much rarer, so I have to have something like this.
- Don't be a richard. Really, this should cover most things, but some people, man...
- Don't be an idiot. Don't get me wrong, feel free to experiment with mods, but use common sense and don't burn down the base, blow up everything, use all the resources, et cetera.
- Don't destroy (grief) stuff without permission.
- Keep the environment relatively decent looking. So, don't chop down every single tree without replanting.
- Ask before doing something major that will use a lot of resources, space, or power. Don't be that guy.
- Communicate with other players either in this thread or, preferably, in Discord.
- Don't hog items for yourself, and please share the loot.
- Your favorite fruit is chocolate. This is to make sure you read the rules.
- Don't be a prick towards me or any moderators I choose to appoint. We can talk about decisions, and I'll sometimes hold things to a vote, but I have the final authority.
- This list is not complete. Just because something isn't here doesn't mean you should or shouldn't do it.
How to join
1. Join the Discord server! This allows for easier communication between players.
2. Download the
FTB Launcher. I recommend using the legacy version rather than Curse.
3. Log in and install HermitPack 1.6.0.
4. Change your allocated RAM in the settings; I recommend 4GB, but you may be able to get away with 2.
5. Message me over Discord so I can add you to the whitelist if you are trustworthy.*
6. Connect to the server using the IP "tristanbomb.us.to"
