You can find a secret without even purchasing it. It's not hard.
For those too lazy to find it, here's some transparent: If you look at the underlined slash and bolded letters on the steam page, you get /solstice. Above that is a totally normal link to the game's site, put them together, I can't do it here without it url-ifying it and un-hiding the transparent text.
Reviews are "Overwhelmingly Positive" on Steam. This game apparently is supposed to get really meta. It just made another window saying "And you only have one shot, [my windows account name which I'm not sharing]."

EDIT AFTER FINISHING THE GAME:
Go. Play. This. Game.
Also, developer's response to "Is Niko a boy or a girl" was "Yes, Niko is a boy or a girl."

Read after finishing the game ONLY:
IF YOU HAVEN'T REACHED THE TOWER YET, CHECK YOUR DESKTOP
IF YOU HAVEN'T REACHED THE TOWER YET, CHECK YOUR DESKTOP

Launch the Clover program/____.EXE again. Follow its instructions. There's at least some new things in the game. I'm NOT sure if reinstalling the game will have the same effect as renaming the save file so probably don't do it.

i will never fail to be amazed that games like these are $10

Ah, thanks for making a thread about this. I'm surprised it hasn't gotten a ton of attention yet - the game is truly incredible. There's a free version somewhere, but it's not nearly as good as the remake (this one), and has much less content.

I would definitely say that this is one of the best indie RPGMaker games I've seen in a year. I would say years, but Undertale exists, and while looked down upon, (and not even from RPGMaker!), I still believe that it was a decent game for what it was.

For sure one of those games that you pick up from nowhere and find great enjoyment with. I did, at least, and the meta stuff doesn't get too edgy. Hope everyone who tries it likes it as much as I did!

welp. i've known about this game for 10 minutes and already bought it. can't wait

wish me luck, if it kills me delete my browser history

Ah yes, i do beleive I'm sold on it now.

seems like undertale 2.0
except more story based
there are (apparently) no random encounters. I'm not sure if it's possible to die.

Also, it isn't possible to accidentally smash the lightbulb with another item in the inventory. I'm glad, because the selection system is a bit weird and I accidentally told Niko to combine the crowbar and lightbulb. I got an achievement for this.

i don't trust "good games" anymore ever since undertale turned out to be quite boring but at least the art in this one looks pretty good

Don't trust anything, not even yourself...

I'm gonna buy this but I noticed

undertale left a weird impact if the people who despised it most bring it up before the actual undertale fans bring it up.

not possible to die. there's one choice you get that can do weird things, but that's a spoiler
