someone going to have to go on the street to play the organ for money

I dont know why but I did some digging and exploring into some of Blocklands history trying to find where it got its popularity from and where the search trends say its going. Of course some people may not be looking for the game but for this just view it as they are.

One trend graph is from 2004 - Now
The other is from the last 5 years.

There are 3 notable spikes, which happened on 3 major events for Blockland.
The first, and largest, is from when Blockland got spotlighted on "The Screen Savers",
The second is from when Blockland was greenlit on Steam,
and the third is from the 2015 -66% Off Steam Sale.

From these 3 you can see where Blockland got its popularity from and how people found it.
It is pretty much flattening out now, and you can also see how it has gradually gone down over the years.
If anyone wanted to, and the probability of it happening would be very low, they would have to do something extreme so to get the game noticed and popularity going up again. Like an advert on YouTube or in New York on one of those electronic billboards.
Though I will say, it looks like its going up a bit...?

Also here is something a 'lil funny to end on, the 2017 New Year Server broke the Steam Green Light Party player count. The number back then was 150 and I believe the New Year 2017 party was 170? Maybe 180? Someone correct me on this.

(and yeah, sorry for my huge stuff up on the last post I replied on. My bad.)

EDIT: I have found more statistics, if people want them I can show them. It shows more of where popularity came from and in a way, how this game evolved.

Because he's finished with it.

Will Badspot sell me the rights to his game please? I'll pay cash.

Dude how old is the game? You can't expect someone to work on the same game for like 20 loving years.

This is why we are seeing a similar trend with Gmod and TF2

Because those are loving popular

He updated the forums just recently to fix an exploit related to temporary emails or something like that

The last update to the game was back in September, but i assume Badspot's got better things to do lately than tend to this 10+ year old game

Though, i am sill waiting for those needed updates we were told that could happen after the shadows and shaders update, or at least a hefty update that'll actually interest and drag in the new players from the Steam community

Even some links in the main menu or something that'll link to the BLF/Add-Ons board would be nice
Are you kidding me, people told me that this is 13+.

retail is 10 years old feb 24th this year.

beta/v0002 and such versions were out 2-3 years before retail went live

Minecraft was in development since May of 2009 and it was released as a full-fledged game in November of 2011, so that makes it close to about 8 years old including its development stage and 6 years old upon release.
