I used to play the stuff out of this game called Burnin Rubber 3 and a lot of the 4th game
I played them recently actually and this happened on both games:


but this happened only once.
also I remember this other game called FFX runner, which got a remake in 2014, and Need for Madness was awesome and it was put on steam for sometime, it got taken off.
