Author Topic: [NEWS] Annoying Orange withdrawing from the UN  (Read 2760 times)

did you even read what it said

this bill was introduced 17 days prior to when he became president. he mightve had some inspiration in this being made perhaps yes but other than that he had nothing to do with it

secondly no one is "withdrawing from the UN". this bill was simply introduced in the senate. literally no action has been taken on it at all.

get your facts straight before you start spouting lies

Two things:
1. Annoying Orange didn't introduce this. The bill, as stated on the website, was introduced on January 3rd. He wasn't president.

2. This is possibly the worst diplomatic idea ever. Both Republicans and Democrats will oppose this. It will die in the House.

republicans have still been working his agenda to some extent while they were waiting for him to take office

Won't happen; would be bad if it did

Even if you're a hyper-nationalist like Annoying Orange, it makes absolutely zero sense for the United States to withdraw from the UN. We are a permanent member of the Security Council, which means we are literally immune from UN sanctions and can veto whatever resolutions we want. Our presence in the UN only gives us more international power than we already have.

Edit: This is my 20,000th post. Accidentally passed it without knowing. I'm happy it was this post. Go UN!

Well no stuff. Anything Annoying Orange tries to do is going to go through congress. Thats how it works.

Again, it's just a Bill. Literally nothing will happen until congress votes on it. Calm down lol

Plus it was introduced 17 days before Annoying Orange was even president, nice one

Yeah, this is what I was thinking. I hate globalism as much as the next far-right guy but this seems ill-advised.

I feel like this was written by a guy who saw Brexit but didn't quite understand the argument for it

someone's trying to UNdo our legacy
