My personal view is that incest is wrong and should be disallowed by all means.
There are arguments where people state incest should be allowed as long as there is contraception but I disagree with this view, I believe there is a bigger picture to consider than just two people having love.
Making it socially acceptable for two blood relatives to be loveually or romantically involved with each other would create many complications, for one contraception does not grantee someone won't conceive and every time someone has love the risk is increased, people also tend to be reckless when loveual tension is high. I also feel it will not be mentally healthy for the people involved, having romantic feelings with a relative and knowing the consequences involved in having a child with them could cause a person distress every time they have love. In addition, if the couple want to have a baby their only viable option is to adopt, however many uneducated or desperate people would just try to conceive anyway.
It's a lot easier just to keep incest disallowed, it's not as if there is a shortage of people to have a loveual/relationship with in this world.
I believe there's a fine line between having a society where people are free to make their own life decisions, and taking it to an extent where we create ethical or moral problems in our society. This is why legislation exists, and why a fine balance of freedom and order is essential.
