Anyone a fan of Destiny?  Anyone got the DLC's?  What activities do you like to do on Destiny?  Favorite class, subclass, weapons, armor?  Favorite raid or mission?  Feel free to discuss it here.

Also, feel free to post your username here if you're looking for players.  I play on Xbox One.  My gamertag is S00THSAYER1337 - so if any of y'all wanna play together, feel free.

Got Destiny: The Collection not too long ago with my PS4. Haven't played it nearly as much as I want to, because I'm waiting to get a new TV/Monitor specifically for my consoles.

Once I get back into the game I'll hopefully know enough to talk about it more comfortably. Right now it's kind of a blur of shooting things.

I really couldn't give you a better guide than this one, written by a reddit member.

As he says, the story is all over the place. Thankfully, game plays just like Halo (with some tweaks and additions), so you'll feel pretty at home.

EDIT: Linked to the wrong one apparently.

use handcannons and only handcannons

use handcannons and only handcannons

Lol, loving scrub, Palindrome is the only good HC and you could easily out-forget a Palindrome with a Grasp of Malok or Distant Star. And if you wanna get really forgety, use Chaos Dogma to snipe people across the map (real fun in Combined Arms playlist).

"Destiny 2" is possibly going to be out on PC

First thing you want to do is complete the story (without DLC it goes to level 20 to a mission called 'The Black Garden').  After completing this line of the story I would go to the strike playlists and play strikes.  Strikes are basically random missions where you fight some sort of big boss at the end and you get some loot.  Here's my biggest tip though: once you complete a strike if you stay in the match WITHOUT going to orbit, or in other words leaving the lobby, you will get a boost called 'Vanguard Streak' where you get not only more experience for your Vanguard rank (which rewards you with legendarys when you level it up) but you also get an increased chance at legendary gear.

TL;DR Beat the story then farm strikes and stay in the strike playlist without leaving so you gain a buff which will increase your chance of getting legendary loot

Palindrome is the only good handcannon?  I beg to differ.  In the legendary category there are other good handcannons such as Lord High Fixer or Fatebringer (I think Fatebringer is still year 1 only though), and in the exotic category Thorn and Last Word are amazing weapons.

Grasp of Malok is amazing though.  I got one with last resort, perfect balance, and surrounded.  Mine is basically built for PvP, trials specifically.  Another good pulse rifle is Reflection Sum.  Not even gonna mention Clever Dragon, gun is for loving normies.  Also forget Matador 64.

lol let me guess, you run Twilight Garrison, Juggernaut, and Matador 64 huh

if destiny 2 is a thing, and it's for pc then im all over it, but destiny sucks richard if you don't have the extortionate dlcs.

Fatebringer is useless (Imago Loop is alright for PvE, since you can roll it just like the FB, just without Arc), Lord High Fixer is alright, and Thorn is a shadow of its once OP past. Last Word is decent. Anything a hand cannon can do, Scout Rifles do better. That's just how its balanced right now.

Also shotguns have no effect on me now that I've learned the enlightened path of the Trespasser.
