Author Topic: Alt-Right Event in Seattle Devolves Into Chaos, Protester Shot  (Read 3041 times)

Notice the same people decrying left-wing violence defend right-wing violence.
Agreed. I don't give a stuff what opinions you hold, if you shoot someone purely based upon your disagreement with them, you can rot in jail.

I don't think people have an obligation to wait until their lives are literally about to end to defend themselves. Does the video actually show the events right before the shooting?
no, but it shows the shooting victim breaking up fights. i'd say its more likely that he thought the man was approaching him violently and shot him, rather than this man suddenly turning on a dime and violently lashing out, only to immediately insist on peace 2 days later at the hospital.

keep in mind im giving this guy the benefit of the doubt by implying that the shooter shot only out of (evidently unfounded) fear and not out of genuine malice.

Does this mean left wing violence is ok

Not when people are being shot. Big difference between "violence" like the Richard Spencer incident and this.

All violence is okay if you look at it from the right angle.

Hm, I think both you and Dren's claims have merit, should one err on the side of caution, or act to preserve their lives which might not be in danger at all?

>some Annoying Orange supporter in the video covered that's been splattered in blue paint and beaten in the face until his nose and mouth is bleeding

Can't imagine why anyone in this crowd would be 'scared' of an anti-fa rioter

90 degrees of standing your ground, my dude

Honestly that's up to the court of law, not me. My personal opinion is that if you're going to shoot somebody in the name of self defense, make sure you're completely 100% in the loving right

Depends on if the threatening party has the same beliefs as you do.

richard spencer getting punched is sorta like the part of a film where the nerdy kid punches a bully in the face except in this case the nerd is a kinkster and the bully is a prick who wants to kill black people and started crying on television after getting punched

this is far less entertaining in the way that it was a misunderstanding that led to someone getting shot.

this isn't a one-sided event. there was a lot of fist fights breaking out between both sides, and a lot of Annoying Orange supporters shoving protesters. still doesn't change the fact that an innocent guy got shot over a misunderstanding.

also someone comforts the Annoying Orange supporter who got punched by saying "don't worry you forgeted them up" so it was most likely a mutual fight

Hmm, I suppose it is up to the court after the fact? We can't really intervene in such events or call for certain action before these things happen. Does that make sense?

It's not technically self defense until ruled as such by the court of law, so having an opinion on it doesn't really make any sense. You could be like some people here and be naysayers of all violence across the board, but life sucks and everything is trying to kill you so that's not an option.

this is a start, but next time just spray into the crowd

Shock value again? You're a real one trick pony.
