Author Topic: Alt-Right Event in Seattle Devolves Into Chaos, Protester Shot  (Read 3046 times)

It's not technically self defense until ruled as such by the court of law, so having an opinion on it doesn't really make any sense. You could be like some people here and be naysayers of all violence across the board, but life sucks and everything is trying to kill you so that's not an option.
That certainly makes sense. It seems better to just see what the courts say rather than get angry about what has already happened.

this article goes into more detail, saying that the shooter had been sucker punched and had his hat stolen by protesters (so peaceful), so it's most likely self-defense out of fear at this point
think about it
if you had a gun and you were hurt and (unwillingly or willingly we don't know) got into another scuffle with protesters who you're uncertain you'd be able to fight off, what would you do?

and this guy calling for togetherness after he was shot seems really fake to me because I know that if an alt-right guy were a violent protester who was protesting someone like Reza Aslan (IDK) and he was shot after he got into a scuffle with leftists he'd be a little more willing to call off the fighting too
that's an innately human thing to do; when you get your ass handed to you, you say, "okay okay OKAY enough with that, let's try and be friends"

it could be that this guy is serious and that the shooter is an starfish who deserves prison
in which case good on you, one distinct example of recent right-wing violence compared to the dozens of examples of leftist violence
nobody's perfect

Shock value again? You're a real one trick pony.
I checked my furry sympathizer database and, yep, you're right there. Please don't bother responding to me again.

this is a start, but next time just spray into the crowd
if you're gonna troll at least stay consistent and stick to one political belief like tony does

right, like i said. he shot because he was afraid, not because he was in actual danger.

if you really want to compare that to the thousands of tribal/homophobic hate crimes from right-wing extremists then be my guest but it doesn't really prove your point.

What kind of protester steals a hat

No death threats or "Yiff in hell" mantras? 2009 has outplayed you by a mile, you should strive for new material.

he shot because he was afraid, not because he was in actual danger.

yeah he was in a massive crowd of violent rioters who had already attacked him multiple times and stolen his stuff but trust me guys he wasn't actually in danger I promise

What kind of protester steals a hat

The kind that gets shot, apparently.

We can dance
We can dance
Everybody look at your hats-

oh wait

For a little while there, that dance was a whole lot less safe :P

...yeah?
he was not in any danger from the guy he actually decided to shoot.

Do you have any proof of this or are you just pulling stuff out of your ass lol

the guy who he shot was actively breaking up fights. unless he has some undisclosed disorder, there would be no reason to suspect him suddenly attacking the Annoying Orange supporter unless it was, ironically, in self defense.
