My gamertag is S00THSAYER1337, I'm currently only rank 20 in Halo 5 but I played the hell out of it at a friends until I got my own XBONE this past Christmas.  I ended up getting Onyx in Free for All and Swat, so that was pretty cool - hoping to do that again or meet some people to play with here.

Also everyone else don't forget that halo 5 forge is free on windows 10. Which is another way of saying you can basically play halo 5 multiplayer on PC

People on Discord huddled around as I finished Halo 4 recently. I am the forum's biggest Halo fan, or was, and recently I spent loving forever detailing the canon of the Bungie games to people..

While I strongly disliked Halo 4, it was overall tolerable and I finished it. I then put in the next game...

Halo 5: Guardians is one of the worst games I have ever played, simply on the disgusting journey 343 took away from developing a true "Halo" game, so they could instead develop their Doritios & Mountain Dew fueled MLG experience.

It was so bad I could only stand to play one campaign mission, and I've since sworn it off for good..

Total bullstuff.

Imo Halo 5 has the worst campaign but the best multiplayer.  How they've balanced the weapons and added weapons and special weapon variants in my opinion makes the multiplayer an amazing experience, but yeah the campaign was garbage.

How they've balanced the weapons and added weapons

You're pulling my leg, right?

Everything to do with the Promethian weapon set is a JOKE, and completely ruined the very fine tuned power wheel of Human and Covenant weapons. The additional weapons to the Human and Covenant segments are laughable and useless (this is going back to Halo 4, too), and they even had the audacity to break some of the better weapons while they were at it.

I played multiplayer at an event before release, and then post-release at a friends house once, and I was swearing in frustration the whole way through. I especially hate the REQ bullstuff, and I prayed that it would be a DOOM-like situation (except, this was before DOOM had entered my consciousness).

I was so wrong. The whole package is a loving load.

No. I've been writing a topic for the past month on Halo's influence on me, and I'm currently speeding writing that one up. Halo is a fantastic franchise, but what they've done to it...

Spartan Ops was a terrible mode, and when you replace your entire leadership team with the people responsible for that abortion...eurgh.

I don't see exactly what is wrong with the Promethian weapons to you?  Are they overpowered/underpowered?

I don't know, when I play Super Fiesta I don't feel like I'm at an advantage or disadvantage playing against someone with a Binary Rifle when I have a Sniper Rifle, or a Rocket Launcher vs. an Incineration Cannon, etc.  Which additional weapons are you referring to that are worthless btw?

personally ive always hated halo (besides the first one or whatever with the zombie aliens that stuff was dope), and ive never owned any besides the first one (cortana was mad thicc too). the story is p bland and the gameplay was dry imo too. it was for sure a fun splitscreen game, def one of my fav games to play with friends when i was younger, but they seem to just have progressively gotten worse.
