Author Topic: Targetting names  (Read 1207 times)

For some, huge names in a mini games is a big giveaway when you're trying to be stealthy, believe me, my in game name is TelescopicUniverse. Yes I know there is something that hides names all together (other than f5), but this is particularily annoying if a buddy wants you to follow him in a TDM game and everyone's wearing the same thing. My idea is that the only time you can see names are when you have the cursor/reticule over them.

Like enemies at a distance in BF2? :o

Good idea. Could be an edit of the hidenames.cs included in the essential script pack.

Maybe you could only see the names of people on your team? I can't think of any problems that might arise (yet...) Wouldn't work in a standard mini though.

Swich teams to find where that annoying sniper is,then swich back. It works in Halo. Just use the cursor idea.

how about a little system that shows only your friends name and possibly their states like if their typing, shooting, getting shot..... pretty much like halo

That's an idea. If they're in your trust list, their name appears if they're on your team, otherwise you have to look to tell.
