what was that argument for the electoral college, again?
Guess what, the electoral college is still a form of majority rule, not mob rule, but majority rule based on region and census.
This isn't some "THE 1% CONTROL THE GOVERNMENT" Conspiracy theory world like so many want to make it out to be.

37% =/= 49.9%

The Electoral college is there so that the cities don't end up ruling the nation.

that second video starts off with some intense clips

voter turnout was 55%, of which the don got 46% so the amount of represented people is about 25%. so it's more like "37% vs 25%"

you should just face it and accept that you only support the minority when you're a part of it

they'd be ignored
Well damn, I mean if you want them to stand in the middle of the road and get slaughtered by cars, fine. I guess thats one way to clean up the gene pool, holy stuff.

To be fair, the liberal discourse over changing the electoral college only started when the college sabotaged Clinton.

Liberals only believe Donald got less than 25%

That's true, but I personally have had the position for quite a while.

she had no problem telling electoral voters to cheat the system and side with her. she should stfu when they cheat and go against her. you cant support her bullstuff only when it works for her. both sides played that same game and she just lost.

The electoral college is working exactly as intended and it's one of the main reasons why our country it still stable today. If we chose our president simply by popular vote that would be a direct democracy which you could probably guess doesn't work in practice much like how communism sounds so good but in reality fails miserably.

yeah 51% ruling over 49% is forgeted up. that was never intended to EVER be how this country ran. the point of electorates is to cover a wider range of needs vs just individuals who are given a bigger voice.

I don't really consider that 'cheating the system' though. The original reason why electors are allowed to be faithless is to act as an emergency safeguard in case the American public were to elect someone so badly unqualified to be president.

so they did just that, and saved the US from a forgeted up candidate. or does it not count when its your candidate...
libs make up rules so often they dont even know where they stand anymore.
