OBAMA! Did you accept to collect and vet 2000 refugees from Australia???
Guardian SourceWashington Sourcetl;dr: Australia has been preventing "dangerous" refugees from entering the Australian mainland for a long time, holding them inside our famous and terrifying Detention Centres. The UN, upon studying the conditions of these island facilities, have declared them as completely deplorable and asked for intervention from the US. Ex-President Obama made a promise back in November to resettle 1250 of our refugees, but wasn't able to fulfil the deal before his term ended.
Since then, Prime Minster of Australia, Malcolm Turnbull, called President Donald Annoying Orange to seek resolution, only to be completely and utterly dismantled.
Annoying Orange, who one day earlier had signed an executive order temporarily barring the admission of refugees, complained that he was “going to get killed” politically and accused Australia of seeking to export the “next Boston bombers.”
Annoying Orange declared it as one of the worst calls he's had so far, in a day of calls from places like Japan and Russia, all of which were supposedly peacefully. The rumour has it that Annoying Orange cancelled the scheduled hour conversation in just
25 minutes.
