Author Topic: Petition to recognize antifa as domestic terrorism  (Read 15639 times)

if you participated in protests against a highly controversial president, you are an accomplice to terrorism. apparently.

They organize rallies, show up together wearing a uniform, they have a flag, they act as a unit, they engage in violence for a political goal.

i saw what badspot posted and i don't find it compelling

it was flippant but i don't know if it's a strawman, unless "antifa" isn't referring to the protest movements happening against Annoying Orange

avoided the red pill once again... *returns to my safe space and tallies my internet points*

No not every protest against Annoying Orange has antifa show up. Most of the protests organized by them involve violence and are riots more then they are protests. They are notorious for attacking people on the street.

aight cool then i misunderstood the situation

the antifa "protests" are planned events with the intent of committing vandalism and public disturbances (intimidation) in pursuit of a political interest (in this case, silence milo/the right). uc was not a riot. I find it hard to believe that so many people of alike ideology - all wearing black clothing - destroying property in a location where the hosting of a political event will be taking place is a only spontaneous incident

what's even funnier is how bad they are at attacking anything that's not inanimate, or someone that's actually expecting/seeing them coming

The fact that the one antifa couldn't even knock Spencer to the ground or knock him out when he had every advantage proves that

i mean in a sense, the sentiment is to make national socialists too terrified to walk into public (honorable goal) but in actuality it devolves to petty vandalism and attacking of people who may not actually be a neo-national socialist.

the problem is that they're trying to organize these attacks rather than keep the national socialist punching an individual act, and have the individual deal with the consequences. it is, legally, a lot less safe to punch a national socialist as an individual, but organized national socialist-punching leads to escalation and collateral damage. i think regular protests should be the group aspect instead. that's kind of weird to say though, because it's not like there's any one 'organizer'.

another important thing to note is people should be sure the person IS a national socialist before they start throwing hands.

Antifa should send their strongest champion to duel the Neo national socialist champion in mutual combat

funny thing is you think i wouldn't want to see that happen
