Author Topic: Magus terrible admin on medieval RP.  (Read 56851 times)

since the gamemode is incapable of running independent of administration you must deal with the beliefs and ideals of how the administrators wish to interpret the rules, this makes the gamemode bad in terms of design but not in terms of potential enjoyability as gamemodes such as these would not be able to exist without these flaws since by nature they must rely on admins

if you cannot deal with this don't play on these servers and instead choose a gamemode that has clear defined rules that can be automated via code

Runescape's wilderness has less rules.

A man in real life killed someone for a bag of chips.

You can't really say someone's motive for killing is not valid.

This might help you with the rules of the server:

medieval rp isn't runescape or real life

medieval rp isn't runescape or real life

So where does the line get drawn?

So where does the line get drawn?
depends which question you're on

The Kangaroo Judge has arrived, and man...completely unsurprised that Tony is acting like a total berg.

Admins run the server. You don't like it, piss off. If there was a whiff of bullstuff in the way the server was being run, you might have had a case, but it sounds to me like the server is designed to be fair to everybody, and you just want to be Mister Special Sperg.

So I'm not allowed to kill a witch unless they consent? Got it.

Why was I killed for being a witch then with no bans given?

Furthermore why was the second person who was killing the second witch not banned?

Why do only I get singled out? I smell kangaroo court.

blame the drama section's lack of edit

OT: Tony you're being a dumb, if you're gonna kill someone for something THEY didn't do (i. e. being a witch) they have to OK it, simple as that. This is RDM, simply because they did not have a choice in their death. How'd you like it if someone came up to your really developed character, called you a witch, and killed you no matter what you argued? I bet you wouldn't be happy. The key part here is that you're killing someone's character without giving them a chance, which isn't fun. Key word is FUN. They're there to have FUN, and while a tragedy might be fun to watch or be the antagonist of (for some), it isn't fun for the protagonist. If they agree to do it for the sake of story or art, and think it's an OK time for their character's story to come to an end, that's OK, because that means they're going to have FUN doing it.

You'd think if a whole crowd accuses someone of being a witch that overrides the whole consent thing.

If you're going to moderate how killing is takes affect you might as well turn off damage.

This stuff is basically larping right now. People pretending to kill each other with foam swords while the other player screams "I got you I got you, you're dead" and the other player says "did not. That was an illegal move where's the judge"

I'm honestly curious how long tony is going to take this
