here's a little fun fact matthew

being a richard doesn't help one win anything or be more powerful or independent. quite the contrary, it shows how weak and insecure you are and helps you lose friends quick. try again and you'll lose some more
People who get offended by jokes like pewdiepie's are no friends of mine.

Also, your logic on your previous quote, the joke just wasnt funny. Thats all. Maybe a richard move, but it isnt worth trying to fire the person who told the joke because youre offended.

This post made want to pour myself an ice cold glass of bleach.

I mean, he has started changing his video style to more h3h3-like or iDubbbz-like videos.

Like he said, the media is just scared. Internet personalities, especially one the size of a country, like PewDiePie, has a giant outreach. And since almost all popular personalities that the young people appeal to are conservative based (because liberals would never loved iDubbbz jokes,) and almost all media outlets are liberal at this point, it's a conflicting value.

He COULD sue, but it isn't worth the time. Realize that this isn't going to do a loving dent. He is going to lose money, but he is just gonna come back up.

At this point, not suing means condoning this type of behavior. He should do what Hogan did and shut WSJ down for this

wait what would he sue someone for

wait what would he sue someone for
libel possibly? idk how it would hold up

anyways im sure hes very concerned with his 53 million subscribers still sticking around

I don't think you can sue for libel if the thing reported was true

technically i think he could sue for defamation. the articles are tying to make it out like pewdiepie actively believes and supports hate speech, but he's explicitly said he doesn't. that falsifies and slanders his reputation

not only that but the article posted shows blatant disregard for context
they took a video where he questions people calling him a tribal with a sketch which he prefaces with "this is what people think of me" then dresses up in national socialist regalia (not even accurate national socialist regalia) and listens to Adolf Riddler for a few seconds
and they cut out the "this is what people think of me part" to make it look like sitting down to listen to Riddler is a regular hobby of his

he totally has a case here

oh yeah if they're saying stuff like that then he could probably sue

Problem with suing for defamation/libel is you have to prove that the people slandering you caused financial distress. If anything, I think Pewd's viewership/subs are going up.

He lost two sponsorships. That's financial distress if you ask me.

Oh stuff, I forgot about that. But was that a result of media, or was that what the media reported on to slander him? What was the sponsor's official statement on the release of the sponsorship?
