Looking at this, they really aren't that high. Considering you need a doctorate to be a professor, and that teaching is a very skill-based, intensive job, these are completely reasonable. Sure the top 10% are paid a lot, but that's balanced out by the bottom 10%... Not sure what Shy_Guy's point is here.

great, military funding is quite low as is

we need a 54 dollar bill

we definitely don't loving spend enough on that

put Annoying Orange on the 20 dollar biull

Well, what I'm thinking that removing some unneeded programs would help overall and slash university president's salary would help too. What need to reduce a lot of major universities is sports coaching as they have a huge salary compared to many professions.

iirc part of the rising cost of tuition is because states are giving universities less money
But why go to a 4-year university and spend a lot of money unlike going to community college as they are cheaper, so you can transfer after 2 year to university for another 2 years.

What such "unneeded programs" exist at all universities that you propose be removed, then? And I don't think the presidents salary has as much of an affect on a students tuition cost as you might think, It seems to only cost the average student around $300-$350, which compared to actual tuition costs is not much at all.

woman/gender studies

You may be wondering why we defend Australia
I don't know either
I think it has less to do with "defending Australia" and more to do with America's strategic interests in Asia. Australia seeking a closer military bond with China would also not be in America's best interest.

Well if a course can't add any other job other become a professor then it's unneeded course.

Well Ipqurax I want to see all the other universities other like public and more bigger names too.

Yes it have gone to war and operations https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yugoslav_Wars, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/War_in_Afghanistan_(2001%E2%80%932014), https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_military_intervention_in_Libya, and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Ocean_Shield.
These are all conflicts that have taken place at least 6-20 years ago. Increasing the military budget during an armed conflict with another country is normal, doing it during peacetime when you already have 600 billion dollars in budget is unheard of, and is obviously a terrible investment of taxpayer dollars.

Yeah we pay more than 10 billion USD in Europe
Thanks for the generic image about military bases that has literally nothing to do with my actual statement about NATO or the UN, and doesn't tell you anything about how much we spend in Europe.

Other than add more funding to aid students that causes the increase cost of tuition.
What are you trying to say here? We should add more funding to aid students? We should increase the cost of tuition? It's really hard to understand what you're trying to say here.
