"they broke the law" is a poor reason to enslave people

Woah there, calling them people is a bit of a slippery slope. After all, they are criminals...

This would loving stimulate the economy, and maybe persuade criminals not to loving break the law.
Um...pretty sure the same argument can be made about illegal immigrants just minding their own business and working under the table

~Waaah, people who broke the law have to do hard labour instead of sitting around and watching tv, walking around a court yard, or sleeping, WAAAAH~

Honestly, when you've broken the law, and you have been detained and placed in prison, (so long as you're carrying out your sentence), it shouldn't be the outside life, but just with a few more restrictions. What the stuff is this?

The fact that this can be considered "Slavery" is loving asinine, it's not like they were walking around, 'minding their own business' they broke laws, (albeit since they crossed the border, they should have been loving deported not placed in prison, get them the forget out.) This would loving stimulate the economy, and maybe persuade criminals not to loving break the law.

This entitlement bullstuff because 'hard labour is unfair, just because he broke a few laws ;C' forget no it is not unfair. If they're willing to break laws like that, then they should be willing to work hard and pay for the damn crimes they committed.

ON THE OTHER loving HAND, Why were ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS not Deported, but instead, placed in a prison to do hard labour? They are here ILLEGALLY, That means they're not supposed to be here so... GET THEM THE forget OUT.

Were they being housed and fed?

Were they being housed and fed?

Housed, fed, clothed, lucky they even got paid. Should have just been deported.

matthew blew a loving gasket holy stuff
i believe that's what they call "sperging out"

First, Working under the table doesn't stimulate the US economy,
and second, if the money is going back to mexico (which it usually is) then it sure as hell isn't helping the US economy.
This is why legalization of certain drugs, along with the fact that we'd have more control over the substances, would greatly help the US economy

First, Working under the table doesn't stimulate the US economy,
you clearly don't understand how the economy works

Matthew do you understand how to economy works

you clearly don't understand how the economy works
You don't claim money, it doesn't get taxed, money is not tracked, can go anywhere (say mexico) and therefore doesn't get put into the US economy but rather the Mexican economy.

You're right, the immigrants burn the money for heat. It's effectively a net loss.

illegal immigrants still have to live here and buy things so yes, they are stimulating the economy. you should really take an introductory macro course
