Author Topic: King Tøny's new infatuation with endlessly harping on the Switch  (Read 68129 times)

In response to an earlier post by Tony, yes, I have tested it. Well, not with a console, my smartphone, but still. That has a screen that can be scratched as easily as all screens by sharp things. Tried on backpacks, before you ask.

I once put my phone and my keys in the same pocket. The screen got scratched.
Phone with paper. Nothing.
Phone alone. Nothing.

Thus, I conclude your screen on whatever device it is, as long as its a screen, cannot get scratched without something sharp.

So you're going to have to buy these accessories eventually then to preserve your screen.

You're done trolling me.

If the switch is a console then so is the vita
It's a console and if you're going to bullstuff me and compare it to the vita then I'm going to compare it to the 4K PS4.
Except vita and switch are handhelds and the ps4 pro is a console (that can't even natively reach 4k)

The vita is not a console.

This is a console  :nes:

Good observation

You done Moltenkittens?

You're not even stating facts on this issue and I doubt you know the difference between a console and a tiger handheld.

I'm the one not staying facts? You're the one saying the switch is a console Peasant Tony

Here we go.

Sony decided not to allow mods for many games that have them for Xbox One.
Sony also decided to not allow EA Access saying no one would want it when many people do.
Sony even tried to copyright the term "Let's Play".
Sony have messed up quite a few more times but I can't really recall them or find them.
Then there's Microsoft
Microsoft completely screwed over the consumers with nearly everything about the Xbox One.
Microsoft forced you to pay to play online and even things like an extra £5 a month just to listen to music.
Microsoft also were completely dumb with the Xbox 360 as they mostly broke and they never fixed it.
Again, Microsoft has more.

I'm not saying Nintendo hasn't made mistakes, but you should realise that nearly every company has made mistakes, Valve, EA, pretty much everyone.

So you're going to have to buy these accessories eventually then to preserve your screen.
I just wanna add to this that you actually get something with it to protect it so you don't NEED the casing, in fact you don't need that unless you put the Switch with something sharp

And what happens when you drop it too many times and it breaks?

The great thing about handhelds they are cheap.

This console isn't very cheap

The only time I've dropped my handheld was when I tried to carry multiple different things, I'm not the kind of person to drop things when it's the only thing I'm holding

And yet again, just adding that the launch price of the PSVita was $250, and that wasn't even the 3G version, the 3G version was $299.

Tell me more about them being cheap please

PS3 use to be about 600 dollars too, what's your point?

Switch is par for the course with handhelds and is currently the best on the market

My point is you said

when really that's not true

Sony realized 300 was too much for a handheld, eventually they got the price lowered.
