You're lying to yourself if you actually think that knowing about awful business practices makes you ""above the big guy""
Consumers want more content, and companies are providing. Why you would stuff on a company for selling when there's demand, I have no idea.
There wasn't demand for the Wii U, there is for the Switch. The Switch's "problems" have been grossly overstated, in the same way that the Xbox 360's RROD was.
I've had my last graphics card for 5 years before upgrading and it played modern titles at the max settings just fine
I honestly don't believe you. I have a GTX 980 and an i7-4790 (3 years old, pretty solid performers at the time), and I know I can't run current games at the absolute max with a consistent frame rate.
Can you give me specs and a benchmark of you running some intensive titles from the past 12 months? I mean, I don't even know what you consider "fine"...does that mean 1080p60FPS? And "max" means maximum everything, right?
He thinks because he worked PR and shilled for Ubisoft that he has some "insider knowledge" about the business that we don't have
Studying under business executives in college, freelancing as a writer/programmer and working in the industry (I've done work with HP, Microsoft and Pixar before and I'm at the ground level of an app development company where I'm informed of the financial process) means I probably have a better idea of how the system works than you do, sitting there and mocking me because you can't front the cash to hop on to the latest innovation. Doing your job, especially when you like the products (despite the notable and shameful flaws, which were often fixed after the fact) isn't "shilling".
I also didn't sign an NDA just for the fun of it. I do have insider knowledge, but that's not why I'm able to speak with the authority that I do on these subjects. I know my stuff. You keep trying to focus a spotlight on my flaws and yet you're sitting there without a single commendable item on your resume that demonstrates any level of technical of equitable competence.
If you don't want to believe me, that's your own problem, and you can't blame me when you get left behind. I keep ahead of the news and discuss issues with my friends because I actually want to be successful and know what it takes to get to the top. If you see that as "shilling" or "exploitation", I'm sorry for you. Maybe you should have been born in Russia, working for the Government in a "fair" system.
The fact of the matter is that you're coming off as either an idiot or a troll; take your pick. Choose both if you really like. It's irritating more than just me, and I'm sure everybody else is asking why you have an inability to learn when you're in the wrong.
