case in point, I had classmates in my high school who were identical twin brothers. same DNA, same genes.
^ doesn't know basic biology in fact why does your stupid one off case matter? tons of scientific papers go against that idea

i'd think upbringing is a strong factor to loveuality but i dont understand how it can be a 'choice', you dont wake up and go "i like rooster today".

make a list  of 50 words that define you as a person.

if gender, or loveual preference appear even once, you are an starfish and are mentally ill.

all trans people cant stop defining themselves by that stuff. its got nothing to do with acceptance or privilege. if your way of life depends on your gender or SP, you are an starfish.

Yes. There is rarely a reason for someone to pose as the opposite gender.

i had like an entire thing typed here but lol nvm
gender dysphoria is a mental disability and it sucks

youre saying "all trans people" and thats a stuffty ass blanket statement because um... hi?

like i'm not even discussing here whether or not homoloveuality is acceptable. i'm just explaining why it's a choice.

Not gonna buy that stuff, you're just dying to go on a tirade about the degeneracy in America and to bash thine sinful friends. The only reason you haven't is because you're fighting this stupid uphill battle against homoloveuality because you forgeters are always on your war path. Think whatever you want to think, just stop trying to disturb my way of life, cunt.

At the end of the day I just wanna like the image I see in the mirror and- if people still think I'm a good person at this point- I've succeeded in being the person I want to be, regardless of gender identity.

I chose to be gay because of my opinions.

just gonna throw in some Factz
1. trans people already have to go through a pretty extensive psych evaluation before they're allowed to start hormone therapy / get surgeries afaik
2. reminder that the APA and DSM-5 (among many other institutions) don't consider being trans a mental disorder (gender dysphoria is though)

also even if simply being trans is a mental disorder, scientists have explored the topic since the 60s and the current method of "rehabilitating" this condition is the way they found to work the best at improving people's livelihoods

I'm straight, but that doesn't mean I'm addicted to making love to women.
cant relate

I'm kind of in the middle with my opinion on transgender and gender identity and all that jazz. On one hand it seems like just an excuse for special snowflakes to get special privileges and everybody should automatically treat them like royalty. On the other hand, I don't believe people should be forced to be what they don't want to be, and as long as they aren't a pain in the ass, I don't really care if you want to be identified as something else.

On one hand it seems like just an excuse for special snowflakes to get special privileges and everybody should automatically treat them like royalty.

That sort of behavior gets really irritating especially when it ventures into like, catgender or whatever persona they come up with. But for the most part, most trans people I know try to fade into the background and only want to be treated like everyone else. Everyone is likely existing among plenty of trans people every day online and offline, they just don't draw attention to themselves and don't talk about it cause they'd rather no one find out.
