Maximum file size for a profile picture?

What is the maximum file size for uploading a profile picture to the forums? because my GIF is 10 kb but won't upload.
(I'm pretty sure its the file size)

Also my profile picture is 75x75 pixels.

Its normally 13 kb for the limit, but ive had it deny me for profile images as small as 4 kb before. probably something wrong with the system

that sucks honestly because i spent days making this profile pic with blender (short gif but i'm new to blender and 3d animation plus it crashed constantly)

i just changed it to a random image i had on my pc and it worked
but if i select the gif it gives me an error this should be fixed.

i just tried another one at 75x75 pixels instead of 17x17 and it wont even upload.

For .gifs I've found that it will reject the image if there's any metadata.
