Preloading begins tomorrow at 10AM PDT.
The beta will feature the same content that Bungie showed off at E3 2017: the campaign’s opening mission, “Homecoming”; a strike called The Inverted Spire; and two Crucible gametypes, Countdown and Control. Only one subclass will be playable for each class: the Arcstrider Hunter, Sentinel Titan and Dawnblade Warlock. All three of them are new for Destiny 2. In addition, beta testers will be able to check out the game’s new social space, The Farm — but only for an hour starting at 10 a.m. on the last day of the beta.
No word on what weapons or armour we can try out. Clans, Guided Games and some other features will be disabled in beta. This is a technical test designed to record data, not a gameplay/balance test, and everything included has already been shown to streamers and members of the press.
