all of them are randomly generated so if you're not me or you don't have my list you have to enter in 38 symbols one by one and pray to xalos that you get a stargate code that works for one of those addresses

and there's about 2 trillion different code combinations possible

ok for clarification since not everybody plays this server i will explain how this stuff works:
there's 817 randomly generated codes (aka addresses) that xalos wants to keep secret and there's 30 normal addresses that anyone can access via http://rdanderson.com/stargate/glyphs/glyphs.htm . the stargate server seems to be meant as a disjointed freebuild server where everyone has their own little space to themselves. but since you can't get to one of the random addresses practically you have one of the 30 public ones to chose from. unfortunately the 30 public addresses are used up by either spam or player builds so the only real way to get your own space at this point is to use my list but xalos got autistic and reset all the ones on my list. i made the list because i was both bored and because i wanted other people to have their own building spaces on that server instead of "being a richard" like what xalos pulled out of his ass

the prison only existed for at most 10 minutes and was a temporary solution that let me build a cage around the dhd so i wouldn't be forgeted with the attackers. if i didn't build the prison to trap the attackers i would've been stuck at that system for years as anyone who tried to dial out of that system would've have been just killed over and over again. i'm willing to bet that if i didn't build the prison this drama would actually be about the attackers who were loving everything up. it is unfortunate that i had to do what i did but it was necessary and you didn't even try asking me why at the time. if you actually tried to communicate like a normal person we'd have avoided this issue entirely. its kind of appalling that you immediately set out to screenshot everything with so little context for a drama.

Stargates are a pretty fun mechanic to play around with if you know how to work em. You could even make an adventure map with them.

i'm not one to just start talking about what i'm doing, but if you asked i would have explained the situation at hand. the thought didn't even cross my mind because i was trying to quickly think of and later implement my dhd cage solution which would have let me free everyone.

I just hope Xalos releases the updated version of the stargate mod so people can start doing cool stuff with it. I'm almost tempted to make all the weapons and armor from stargate because you could make such a kickass rpg with it.
