definitely weird but it was the coolest thing to experience.
it was super weird to see such a clear distinction between light and shadow, yet it was so dim. the lighting was like a violently cloudy day without a cloud in the sky for me. super surreal but super cool

i ask myself why do you get blind if you look directly at the solar eclipse..

over where i was at it looked like the twilight world from legend of zelda twilight princess

it honestly looked really cool.

I mean it looks like the darksign from dark souls regardless

that was one of the best parts imo, the total eclipse was still the neatest thing i've seen in the sky so far but the half an hour or so of mars-like ambient lighting leading up to it was really cool.

Up where I live if you had those glasses you could see a tiny bump on the Sun.

Too bad I didn't have the glasses so I couldn't see anything...

I wasn't allowed to go outside which is dumb

hey hey hey april 28th 2024 total solar eclipse passes right over Houston and some other states

Because you're still looking at the sun. The corona you see still emits enough light to damage your eyes.

That's when I actually get to see something.

Yeet I was right in the center of the viewing line

Winter is like one big ass eclipse here. And its far from cool.
