and more than 50% is just insane
regardless of whether you're left or right, a government that's too strong is a recipe for disaster

well yeah that's a good point. it does make me wonder what some of your answers were though

whoops I fixed the font issue
my bad

I can maybe give 30 a pass depending on specifics. but I'm not sure there I could see any way to justify a much higher one. tyler66 is forgeted, basically
I'm not a Statist in seek to control people. Nobody wants to have a higher power dictate what they do, unsurprisingly. The reason I believe in statism as an effective way to preserve nation, people, and culture.
Nothing more.

mine is essentially OP's but a little bit more centrist, though i think maybe it misinterpreted my stance as more authoritarian / capitalist than it is. i think the government has to be involved in a lot of stuff, but i think the government should be more of a marxist-style congregation rather than powerful or wealthy people. there was also a couple where i had to say neutral because it depends on a case to case basis, and some stuff i agreed with as a principle but could be different in a case to case basis

but yeah essentially socialist libertarian / democratic socialist

I find these quizzes really hard to take because these issues are usually super complicated and depend a lot on the individual circumstances at play.

Like for instance, "Taxes should be increased on the rich to provide for the poor." There are many good arguments that instituting a flat-tax which is more effective at raising revenue than a progressive tax system would provide more for the poor, because there would be less complexity and fewer loopholes for the rich to get out of paying their fair share. But if we were able to flesh out an un-cheatable progressive tax code, I'd probably support it.

Either way, this is a very cool project you've made. Is this for a class?
Sorry, didn't see this. A progressive tax code didn't necessarily mean there are loopholes, just like how a proportional tax code doesn't imply they're aren't any.

Thanks! It's not for a class, I was just bored and decided to make it.
