Im against it because im not an authoritarianist who wants people i dont like removed from places

i'd argue that it's way more than just not liking him. if that person has been banned before for flaming and continues to flame and post stupid stuff, then there's already a problem here. someone who just creeps around discords/forums all day just to be a nuisance and to harass people is not someone I'd want around anyway.

i'd bet grimlock gets at least 1-2 reports on his posts a day:

Wasn't the point of Grimlock's topic to celebrate Ravencroft's brithday? So would that mean that he was posting for him, or was it literally just the quote from Betelgeuse that got him banned?

They are both ban on site users meaning he is still posting for them. I'm guessing the Betel quote was the main focus of the ban but still Raven is a ban on site so I'm assuming both took a toll in it.

the betel quote was probably the part that did him in, i don't think saying happy birthday to a banned user does anything unless he specifically posted something for him

i was going to agree with you that it was unfair but i looked at the thread and neon never wrote on his behalf, she broke no rules.

his ban was a stretch but if you're a repeat offender you should be be on a tighter leash, and that's what happened.
