honestly the addition of inklings just got me hooked onto the game into the first place (you know me as the splatoon addict), the battle mode also influenced me to get it tho

Well I'm p sure Gold Mario needs to be unlocked and so does every car piece.

Gold Mario is the be all end all unlock and the kart parts aren't unlocked in a fashion that I find engaging

u start out with a surprisingly low amount of kart parts but that's probably for the best since it's one of the only things u unlock now

i remember playing mk8 and seeing people fire hopping and thinking "wow if they really put this in on purpose they're really cruel to newcomers" but it turns out it was unintended lol
